In recent times, the Adriatic coast of Croatia has become a haven for electronic music to rival even Ibiza and Berlin. With unspoiled beaches and approximately 1,000 coastal islands, the country has grown rapidly to host over 40 music festivals. One of the key locations in this phenomenon has been the seafront city of Pula.
Each year Pula hosts two of the best dance festivals in Europe: Outlook and Dimensions. Both take place in an old 19th century military fort, with Outlook focused more on hip-hop and the bass side of the electronic music spectrum, and Dimensions focused on techno, house and minimal. Since beginning, both festivals have hosted stars as big as Run The Jewels, Stormzy, Damian Marley, Massive Attack and Moodymann.
